Set in the fictional town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania, the series follows the lives of four girls, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, and Spencer Hastings, whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader, Alison DiLaurentis. One year later, the estranged friends are reunited as they begin receiving messages from a mysterious figure named 'A', who threatens to expose their deepest secrets, including ones they thought only Alison knew. At first, they think it's Alison herself, but after her body is found, the girls realize that someone else is planning on ruining their not so perfect lives. I can't believe it took me this long to find PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. I can't stop watching it - this is an addictive show, no doubt. I love the cast - each girl plays her character so very well. (HANNA IS MY FAVE) All are believable.

And, geez the plot twists keep you on your toes, don't they???!!!! The boys are good, too.and the moms.

So glad I found this show- just finished watching BREAKING BAD.and, although I thoght that was a great show, too.it was so dark, ttis one is generally not 'dark,' but it does have some seriously heavy plot lines.it's no lightwsight, belive e.
