I don't doubt that it will get these things going. But I wonder how long that 60 amp hour (3x20 amp hour SLA AGM) will actually last under sump pump conditions? On the other hand, i'm quite surprised at the flexibility with my powersource 400.

Here's a review on the powersource 400 unit from home perspective: Manufacturer says the 1800 can drive a 1/2 hp sump pump for 45 min. Probably just barely sufficient for a temporary blackout during a heavy storm. Should work for several hours during non-storm blackouts when the sump pump isn't working every few minutes.
See: I bought one last year when it went on sale for $349.99, then went back a month later for price protection adjustment when it went down to $299.99. If you're thinking of getting one, this is as cheap as it gets, so don't wait.
