I guess eMULE is the thing you want, but eMULE was unstable in my computer. I guess that's because it's an old computer that corrupts data. I originally had Limewire, but Limewire is connected to the Gnutella network and this network seems to be pretty much dead.

I then tried Shareaza. Shareaza connects to all sorts of networks that are very much alive, but I had a real problem with the upload/download ratio. I was giving and giving and giving while receiving very little. The upload/download ratio was unacceptable to me. Then I tried Ares Galaxy - and I just don't see any problems with it that are really worth mentioning.
